WCHS Updates
Monday, February 28th will be a virtual learning day for scholars. We will have a system wide Parent/Teacher Conference Day from 8am to 4:30pm. Parents/guardians are welcome to visit classrooms to meet with teachers

WCHS would like to thank our guest speaker, Assistant State Superintendent over Support Services, Mr. Terry Roller for pouring into our scholars during the Black History program today. He inspired us and reminded us that we can come from nothing, become something and do anything! WCHS would also like to thank the History and ELA departments on a job well done with spearheading the program. Our scholars did a phenomenal job throughout the entire program. Special thanks to Mrs. Hudson for securing our speaker for WCHS and CSAT as well as Dr. Saulsberry, parents, guardians and community stakeholders for the support and attending our program in-person and virtually.

WCHS Update:
WCHS Honor's Day has been rescheduled for Friday, February 11th at 10:00a.

We are excited to announce our school’s launch of the Peer Helpers Program, a student prevention and support program like none before. This comes at a crucial time for the mental and physical health of our young people. In addition to the previously existing challenges students face, they now have the added
effects of social isolation, potential sickness, widespread death, parent job loss, and strained academic performance. They are in need of support now more than ever.
Peer Helpers support other students as a tutor, mentor, or confidant. Students feel a connection to other students, making them an excellent resource for
our community building.
Peer helper coordinators are Mrs. Robin Williams and Mrs. Alexis Tucker.
