Greetings Jaguars, Governor Kay Ivey, alongside State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric G. Mackey from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), has launched the state's third iteration of its Thank Alabama Teachers initiative. This year, the entire month of November has been designated by a formal Proclamation to celebrate Alabama teachers through a robust statewide campaign in which communities, businesses, and individuals are asked to participate. Wilcox Central High School would like to highlight our English Department today in recognition of this initiative. Our English Department consists of Ms. Clanlethia Johnson and Mrs. Quarnitrea Spagner. Both teachers have been a great asset to Wilcox Central High School. Please show your appreciation and tell them thanks. Go Jags!
