The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is working with the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) to make P-EBT cards available to qualifying families, as the program has been extended and modified under CARES 2.
Children who attended a school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and received free or reduced meals for breakfast or lunch — and subsequently missed these meals due to school closures, may be eligible for P-EBT.
P-EBT cards will be mailed directly to qualifying students' homes beginning in May 2021. Parents, please contact your child’s school to verify that all contact information you have on file at the school is correct to avoid any delays in receipt of the P-EBT cards.

Meal pick-up will begin tomorrow, September 3, 2020. Dates for meal distribution can be found in the first column on the breakfast and lunch menus. Meals will be distributed only once per week.
